Shortly before the official announcement of the new Research-Innovation of the Ministry of Development and Investments, which will have a total budget of €300 million and improved in terms of the evaluation times of their proposals and approvals and with the aim of receiving the approved more quickly funds to beneficiaries.

The four pillars of the program:

The total amount of €300 million of the Research Create-Innovate program will be distributed among four pillars:

  • 1st pillar: amounting to €60 million, will concern small and medium enterprises for research – each approved proposal will receive up to €800 thousand.
  • 2nd pillar: of €180 million, for synergies between universities, research centers and SMEs – each proposal will receive €2 million, up from €1 million in previous rounds
  • 3rd pillar: a budget of €30 million, for the utilization of research results
  • 4th pillar: at €21 million, for companies that have been positively evaluated by the European Horizon and there was no possibility of financing them

According to the published schedule, the estimated start date for the calls for proposals is the second quarter of 2023, while the estimated closing date for proposals is set as the third quarter of 2023.

The terms of participation will be included in the Action's Detailed Invitation.

The Action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by national resources.
