Today, Wednesday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m., the submission of electronic funding applications for the new "Business Grant Program" begins for the employment of 5,000 unemployed, aged 18-66, with an emphasis on the green economy sector and women".

The aim of the action is to create 5,000 new, "green" full-time jobs in companies that are active or will operate in the green economy. The grant covers up to 80% of salary and contributions for 15 months, up to 12,264 euros per new position work.

DYPA's work subsidy programs are aimed at private companies and generally private sector employers who regularly practice economic activity. Businesses interested in participating can submit their application exclusively online either a) via DYPA's e-services platform (dypa.gov.gr) or b) through the Single Digital Portal of the Greek public sector gov.gr.

After submitting the application, DYPA confirms that the company meets the conditions and DYPA's job counselors indicate candidates with the specialty and required qualifications stated by the employer. The employer selects the beneficiary and proceeds with the recruitment.

The total budget amounts to €49,880,000 and is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.

Beneficiaries of the action are private enterprises and generally employers of the private sector who regularly carry out economic activity and are active or are going to be active in the field of the green economy.

Eligible businesses are considered to be corporate businesses as well as sole proprietorships with an activity that corresponds to at least one of the Activity Code Numbers (K.A.D.) as mentioned in the relevant decision.
