Applications are open from Wednesday, April 3rd to Friday, April 19th at 3:00 PM for those interested in participating in three new training programs. These programs were designed in collaboration with social partners and local stakeholders and will be implemented by the Thessaloniki and Larissa Vocational Training Centers (KEK) of the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

FIELDS

  • CORE TRAINING FOR INDUSTRIAL WORKERS

he program has a total duration of 230 hours and aims to provide trainees with basic technical knowledge and skills in metalworking tasks. The goal is for trainees to be able to manufacture and repair various types of components, perform any mechanical work, and enhance their employability in an industrial environment. The program was designed at the request of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (ΣΒΕ). It will be implemented by the Thessaloniki and Larissa Vocational Training Centers (KEK) of DYPA. It is aimed at 18 unemployed people aged 18-50, with at least compulsory education, living in the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki. The courses will be delivered in person in specialized workshops of the EPAS Oraiokastrou of DYPA.

  • CARPENTER

The overall duration of the program is 180 hours, aiming for trainees to acquire basic technical knowledge regarding wooden constructions. This includes reading blueprints, materials technology, woodworking mechanics and products, as well as structural stability, thereby enhancing their access to the job market in wood processing companies. The program was designed following a request from the Thessaloniki Chamber of Crafts, and it will train 18 unemployed individuals aged 18-50, graduates of at least compulsory education, residents of the Thessaloniki Regional Unit, with relevant professional experience of at least one year. Classes will be conducted in person at specialized workshops of the Vocational School of Apprenticeship (EPAS) in Oraiokastro, under the supervision of the Public Vocational Training Institute (ΔΥΠΑ).

  • ΚΟΠΤΙΚΗ – ΡΑΠΤΙΚΗ

Total duration of 250 hours, aiming for trainees to acquire basic technical knowledge and skills in the design and creation of patterns for household linen, to recognize the technical specifications of sewing machines, to describe packaging principles, and to determine production processes. The program was designed following a request from the Thessalian Association of Enterprises and Industries (THAEE) and will train 15 unemployed individuals aged 18-60, graduates of at least compulsory education, permanent residents of the Thessaly Regional Unit. The program will be conducted in person at the facilities of "Bettina" - Textile Articles SA, headquartered in the Industrial Area of Larissa.

  • EDUCATIONAL ALLOWANCE

Οι εκπαιδευόμενοι θα λάβουν εκπαιδευτικό επίδομα 2,50 ευρώ καθαρά ανά ώρα κατάρτισης. Επίσης, θα καλυφθούν με ιατροφαρμακευτική περίθαλψη καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της κατάρτισης. Οι αιτήσεις θα υποβάλλονται μέσω ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου, με συστημένη επιστολή ή με ταχυμεταφορά στο ΚΕΚ ΔΥΠΑ Θεσσαλονίκης και στο ΚΕΚ ΔΥΠΑ Λάρισας.

  • ΑΞΙΟΛΟΓΗΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΠΙΣΤΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ

Upon completion of the application submission, their evaluation will follow, and subsequently, an informative email will be sent to the beneficiaries regarding their final selection for the programs, along with instructions for registration and monitoring procedures of the offered thematic units. Upon successful completion of the training programs, beneficiaries will receive a Professional Training Certificate from the Public Vocational Training Institute (ΔΥΠΑ) Training Center.
