The Ministry of Development announced the launch of the submission process for control requests for investment projects approved under Development Law 4887/2022, enabling businesses to proceed to the next stages of implementation and access the incentives provided by the law.

The submission of requests begins on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and concerns specific incentive schemes under the law.

Ποια επενδυτικά σχέδια αφορά;

The right to submit a control request is granted to companies that have been approved under the following schemes:

• Manufacturing Scheme — 1st and 2nd Call

• Tourism — 1st and 2nd Cycle

• Agri-food

• General Entrepreneurship 360°

The process applies to investment projects that are under implementation or completion and seek to proceed with the review of the incurred expenditures.

A control request constitutes a key stage within the framework of the Development Law, as it concerns the verification of the proper implementation of the approved investment project. Through this process, compliance with the terms of approval, as well as the eligibility of the incurred expenditures, is assessed.

The control process is a necessary prerequisite for:

• the payment of grants,

• the activation of tax exemptions,

• or the granting of other incentives provided for under the law.

Depending on the amount of the investment project, the control may be carried out either by a certified auditor/audit firm or by the competent supervisory authorities of the public administration.
