Gov.gr Wallet has been upgraded with new features that enhance security and simplify everyday digital document management. The latest updates focus on document revocation alerts, automatic OTP completion, and real-time updates of the DYPA Digital Card.

These improvements make the application more practical, reliable, and efficient for daily digital transactions.


Automatic Alerts for Document Revocations

Users are now automatically notified in case of:

  • Revocation of a digital ID

  • Revocation of a driving license

  • Declaration of lost ID

A notification appears upon login, clearly indicating which document is affected. Where applicable, users may re-add the document to the app. If not permitted, an informative message is displayed.

This feature enhances transparency and prevents the use of invalid digital documents.


Automatic OTP Code Completion

Adding documents becomes faster through automatic completion of the six-digit OTP code.

With user consent, the code is retrieved automatically from the SMS message, eliminating manual entry.

This improvement:

  • Reduces completion time

  • Minimizes input errors

  • Improves overall user experience


DYPA Digital Card with Real-Time Updates

Gov.gr Wallet now supports real-time updates of the DYPA Digital Card.

The unemployment status is displayed through color indicators:

  • Green: Unemployed up to 12 months, or over 12 months meeting income criteria for heating allowance

  • Orange: Unemployed over 12 months who do not meet the income criteria

If the card expires, it is automatically removed from the application without any action required by the user.
