Elections Leave 2023 | AFS - Athens Financial Services

The decision to grant a special leave of absence with pay for exercising the right to vote during the parliamentary elections of May 21, 2023 was published in the Official Gazette.

According to decision 46445/2023, the following tables apply:

Move to a distance	Employees with six days' work
of 100-200 km	1 working day
of 201-400 km	2 working days
401 km and above	2 working days
to and from islands for which there is no road access	On a case-by-case basis, depending on the distance and no > than 3 working days

Move to a distance	Employees with five-day work πενθήμερη εργασία
σε απόσταση 200-400 χιλιομέτρων	1 working day
401 km and above	2 working days
to and from islands for which there is no road access	On a case-by-case basis, depending on the distance and no > than 3 working days

For those of the employees who move according to the above, Sunday May 21, 2023 (the day of the voting), is a working day, this is considered a day of special leave of absence with wages, beyond those defined in the above tables.

The leave granted above is not offset against the annual paid leave.
