⚖️ Legal Framework Law 5038/2023 ("Migration Code"), Articles 99–100: introduces the Golden Visa through financial investments, including the purchase of government bonds or other securities. Amendment via Law 5130/2024: further strengthens and updates the investment categories and application procedures. Joint Ministerial Decision (soon to be published in the Official Government Gazette, pursuant to Law 5038/2023): officially defines the implementation details.

2. Εκδόσεις εταιρικών ή κρατικών ομολόγων/μετοχών εισηγμένων σε Χρηματιστήριο, με ελάχιστο ποσό 800.000 €
Τα κριτήρια καλύπτουν επίσης επενδύσεις όπως ΑΕΕΑΠ, ΑΚΕΣ, κρατικές προθεσμιακές καταθέσεις κ.λπ., βάσει του Νόμου.

⏳ Duration and Renewals Initial permit duration: 5 years Renewal process: Requires continuation of the investment and compliance with the terms of the initial application.

🛡️ Official Supervisory Authorities The Directorate of Direct Foreign Investments (Ministry of Development) assesses the adequacy of the investment. The Minister of Migration & Asylum issues the Golden Visa residence permit through the relevant Joint Ministerial Decision.
