A new funding action under the NSRF 2021–2027 titled “Extroversion of Small and Medium Enterprises” is now available, with a total budget of €200 million, within the framework of the Competitiveness Program. The goal is to enhance the international presence of Greek SMEs through subsidies for participation in international trade fairs, equipment purchases, certifications, and other promotional activities.
📅 Applications open on July 17 and close on October 9, 2025.
🎯 What is the purpose of the program?
The action supports the extroversion and international expansion of SMEs by funding:

Participation in international trade fairs (within the EU & third countries)

Integration into global value chains
-
Strengthening export activity
-
Investments in technological and production upgrades
💶 What is the funding amount?

Up to 50% subsidy of the total eligible investment cost (depending on the region of implementation)
-
Maximum eligible project budget: up to twice the company’s highest annual turnover from the past 3 years, with an absolute cap of €200,000

Minimum 25% own contribution (through private funds)
-
The funded company must increase its exports by at least 70% of the granted amount within 3 years after completion of the investment
✅ Who is eligible?
The action targets existing:

Very Small, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises
-
With at least one full closed fiscal year
-
With an eligible main or secondary activity code (KAD) on the date of application
-
Employing at least one full-time employee (Annual Work Unit - AWU)

📌 Expenses are eligible from the date of electronic submission of the application. ⏳ The maximum implementation period is 18 months from the approval date.
