Applications are now open for the new €17,500 entrepreneurship grant program addressed to unemployed individuals aged 18–29 who wish to start their own business.

The program places particular emphasis on:

• Unemployed women

• Business plans in the digital economy

• Activities aligned with the green and sustainable transition

The initiative is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) under the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021–2027” framework, with a total budget of €37 million.

Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants must:

• Be registered as unemployed with the Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA)

• Be 18–29 years old

• Have completed the individualized counseling process

• Have agreed to a Digital Individual Action Plan

• Be outside employment, education, and training (NEET status)

• Hold the legal right to reside and work in Greece

Grant Amount & Payment Structure

Each approved beneficiary receives €17,500, paid in three installments:

• 4.700€ upon business start-up

• 6.400€ after 6 months of verified operation

• 6.400€ after 12 months of verified operation

The funding duration is 12 months from the official business start date.
